Power9 AC & DC EV Chargers

Different charging applications require different combinations of charging speed, electrical capacity and user access.

The Power9 range currently includes a dual-gun AC charging system for simultaneous charging and a connected 20/30 kW DC fast charger for faster-turnaround applications.

Power9 AC Type 2 Dual Gun EV Charger

11.5 kW × 2 | 23 kW Total System Output

Model: P9-AC22D

The Power9 AC Type 2 Dual Gun EV Charger combines two charging outputs in one floor-standing charging unit.

Each charging gun provides 11.5 kW output, allowing the system to provide 23 kW total output when both ports are operating simultaneously.

This makes it particularly relevant to locations where more than one EV may need access to charging during the same parking period.

Charge Two Compatible EVs Simultaneously

One of the defining features of the P9-AC22D is its dual-gun configuration. Instead of allocating a separate charger cabinet to each parking position, the system provides two Type 2 charging outputs from one floor-standing unit. Each output is specified for 11.5 kW, enabling 23 kW combined simultaneous charging. This can be useful in charging environments where vehicles have relatively long parking durations but more than one user needs charger access.

Smart User Access

Smart User Access

The charger specification supports several user-authentication methods: RFID, NFC, QR code, App-based authentication It can locally store multiple RFID credentials, helping support managed charging environments with multiple authorised users.

Connected Charging

Connected Charging

The AC charger includes: OCPP 2.0.1, Backward OCPP 1.6J support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, LAN, Remote start/stop, OTA updates These capabilities enable the charger to communicate with compatible charging-management infrastructure.

Charging Information at a Glance

A built-in 4.3-inch colour display presents session and charging information. Depending on available data, the display can show: Power, Voltage, Current, Frequency, Energy consumed, Charging time, User information, Charger status Fault information

Dynamic Load Management

The AC charger specification includes dynamic load-management functionality. For sites with multiple electrical loads, controlled charging can be an important part of making better use of available electrical capacity. The final load-management architecture should always be designed according to the site’s actual electrical system.

Protection & Outdoor Installation

The unit uses an IP54-rated aluminium enclosure and includes multiple protection mechanisms.

Over-voltage protection

Under-voltage protection

Over-current protection

Over-temperature protection

Short-circuit protection

Earth-leakage protection

Type 2 surge protection

* An optional emergency-stop configuration is also listed.

Where Can the Power9 Dual Gun AC Charger Be Evaluated?

Workplaces

Longer employee parking periods can make AC charging practical.

Apartments & Residential Parking

The charger can be evaluated for planned shared charging environments where the electrical infrastructure and vehicle compatibility support it.

Commercial Properties

Two charging outputs can help provide charging access to more than one vehicle.

Destination Charging

Suitable charging locations may include places where vehicles remain parked for extended periods.
